The Class
Restarting is a solution-based approach for building joy, receiving inner healing and developing life-giving relationships. Advancing beyond traditional treatment, current support group methods, and secular or spiritual approaches to recovery, Restarting offers hope and a new approach to recovery for those who still feel hurt, empty, alone, or ashamed of their struggle. An entrance to the Life Model course series, Restarting is for people who want to understand and change behaviors that are inhibiting relationships, growth and joy.
In this 12-week class, you will learn about basic neuroscience of the brain, trauma, addiction and your style of attachment to God and others through a video series and a combination of interactive, synchronizing, and Immanuel prayer exercises. Restarting teaches us what it means to attach to God and other people in healthy ways and show up as the best version of ourselves – the selves God intended for us to be. In Restarting, you will engage with others in small groups to share stories and insights that will begin to rewire your brain for healthy attachment and joy, even in the midst of distress.
