The Class
Forming
Forming is a fresh, life-giving approach to spiritual growth and restoration that may be very different from what you have tried before. Instead of relying on your willpower and self-effort to bring about change in your life, we help you build a relationship with God that has enough substance to change you from the inside out. An entrance to the Life Model course series, Forming is for people who want to grow in their spiritual maturity by engaging at deeper levels with God.
In this 12-week class, you will learn to engage with God and live from your true heart through a video series and time for quieting, listening and journaling, instead of continually striving to go go go and do do do. To use a metaphor, instead of rowing against the current of our inner life, in an effort to do what we think is right, Forming teaches us how to align our sails with the Holy Spirit so that we engage with God to change the direction of our hearts so that we can go places we never could get to by rowing alone. In Forming, you will engage with Scripture, your past and present experiences, and your emotions in healthy ways to reveal truths you may not realize are there.
